The Interiors & Sources magazine-hosted Healthcare Design Connections event held in Jacksonville, Florida Feb. 22 - 24, brought top manufacturers and suppliers together with their target specifying audience of A&D professionals including interior designers, architects, project managers, partners and owners and other job titles representing specification power for products in healthcare projects. ASPECTA’s Commercial Sales Specialist Kendra Mahen reports on a successful show.
It was one of the most well received networking and continuing education events we have attended. We had the opportunity to present to two boardroom sessions and a total of 14 one-on-one presentations. The eight boardroom attendees were pre-selected by the publisher and event coordinator and we chose the participants for the one on ones.
First we presented the ASPECTA FIVE product line, and then we conducted a roundtable discussion to discover what the attendees look for in the flooring products they specify. This enabled us to also present the benefits of ASPECTA and how it actually meets the needs of their desired products during the conversation. The key product stories that got them excited about ASPECTA FIVE: The NSF Platinum certification which is building momentum, EPD, PTD, HPD and 25 year warranty. These top benefits made the attendees gravitate towards ASPECTA. They also liked the no-wax/no-finish aspect of the ceramic bead finish.
Our new contacts are top notch influencers in a number of A&D firms and healthcare facilities: the Director of Interior Design at HKS Dallas, Designers at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Nebraska Medicine, Henry Ford Hospital, Gensler, New York Presbyterian Hospital, as well as many others. We expect that ASPECTA will be top of mind with these firms — and in their facilities — in the months to come!
