Aspecta Ten Receives Prestigious Nightingale Award

NORWALK, Nov. 16 – Aspecta Ten by Metroflor Corporation received a Nightingale Silver Award in the Flooring Hard Surface category, one of 35 products entered into this prestigious Awards competition. The Nightingale Awards honor new products exhibited at the Healthcare Design Expo & Conference, November 14 – 17 in National Harbor, Maryland.

Presented by Healthcare Design and Contract magazines in partnership with The Center for Health Design, the Nightingale Awards recognize contribution to the healthcare built environment through product design and innovation that contribute to healing.

Named in honor of Florence Nightingale, and Contract magazine’s editors and The Center for Health Design’s founders in 1990, the Nightingale Awards recognize products that are juried by seasoned healthcare design professionals and healthcare facility managers. The jury makes selections based on the product’s contribution to a healing environment, functionality, quality and durability, aesthetics and style, pricing, and innovation. To evaluate the entries, jurors visit the exhibitors’ booths before the show floor opens at the Healthcare Design Expo & Conference to examine the products in person and ask questions of the manufacturers.

Said Russ Rogg, president & CEO of Metroflor Corporation, “We are excited and proud that Aspecta Ten has been acknowledged for its relevance to healthcare, which will be an important growth sector for this new brand. We applaud the judges for recognizing Aspecta Ten’s innovation and how it contributes to the creation of healing environments.”
