Metroflor Corp Appoints Robert Langstaff to New Position as Director of Design

NORWALK, CT, Feb. 6, 2015– Metroflor Corp. announced that Robert Langstaff, an artist and designer who created the plank designs for the company’s new ASPECTA contract LVT, has been tapped to be the first Director of Design company-wide. In his expanded role, Langstaff will oversee the design direction for all of Metroflor’s brands, in addition to ASPECTA: Konecto, Engage, Aspire, Artistek and Metroflor Dryback.

A painter and sculptor represented by Kouros Gallery in New York City, he is also a product and surface designer working under the name of Langstaff Studio. He has designed award-winning wallcovering, laminate and vinyl film products for several domestic and international companies. Previously, Robert's focus has been on countertop laminates, laminate flooring and luxury vinyl tile.
